Genesis is an independently owned and operated medical transcription and healthcare business management company located in Tequesta, Florida. Genesis was established in 2001 with the vision to be the best in reliable, cost-effective medical transcription services. Since its establishment, Genesis has been a premier provider of quality state-of-the-art transcription services to the health care community throughout the country. Since 2009, Genesis has expanded it's core business to include healthcare management support and oversight services through it's dedicated staff and teaming partners. Genesis brings over 60 years of combined federal healthcare management experience, and over 15 years of medical transcription experience.

Genesis partners Michael Carlisle and Stephen Wilkinson are recognized in the Department of Defense (DoD) healthcare community as stellar healthcare managers. Genesis has a proven record of providing superior support and project management to its healthcare clients, and will provide the skills and experience to fully meet the government’s requirements.

Mr. Wilkinson is a former Army Lieutenant Colonel with over 30 years of progressive experience and documented success in managing all phases of Healthcare Operations. He is adept at developing strategic plans, budget administration, and implementing healthcare programs and processes to improve efficiencies. He is experienced in analyzing and resolving programmatic issues within the federal government. He is a certified accrediting surveyor and has assisted healthcare organizations prepare for The Joint Commission and Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program surveys. He has written quality assurance components for bids, and developed virtual training seminars for clients on the understanding of the Military TRICARE System and Government Contracting.  A certified Healthcare Executive, Mr. Wilkinson is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and holds a Master of Arts degree in Management from Central Michigan University and a Master of Health Administration degree from Baylor University.

Mr. Carlisle is a former Army Lieutenant Colonel with over 30 years experience in an assortment of positions as a director, associate program manager, administrator, program, and policy analyst for the military healthcare system while on active duty and as a civilian.  He is an operations strategist and manager who is a knowledge expert on TRICARE programs and has been involved in numerous Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense healthcare resource sharing initiatives throughout the United States. During his military career he served as the subject matter expert on Medicare managed care plans and certification requirements, and was responsible for the preparation and certification of 6 Department of Defense medical treatment facilities as Medicare + Choice (Medicare Advantage) demonstration sites. A certified Healthcare Executive, Mr. Carlisle is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, and holds a Master of Arts degree in Management from Webster University and a Master of Health Administration degree from Baylor University.
